Frequently Asked Questions

If you would like to request an adjustment or modification to a parcel you have not rented, please submit a ticket to our rental team prior to renting using the button above to confirm we can accommodate the request. We do not offer refunds for rent paid under unconfirmed expectations of modification.

Q. I have found a property that I really like, but it doesn’t have enough prim available. Can I request more?
A. Of course! Submit a rental ticket to request a prim limit modification and our team will review if an accommodation is possible. Additional prim are billed at the same rate.

Q. I have found a lot that is in the perfect location, but I don’t like the building that is currently on it. Can I request a swap?
A. Certain properties are available for swaps, yes. Properties on the sims of Dominion, Port Dominion and Jaguar are not eligible for swaps, but several residential properties on the sims of Lion and Dominion Heights are eligible. Business are handled on a case by case basis, but typically cannot be substituted. Inquire with our team by submitting a rental ticket.

Q. I would like to add a pool, garage or other outer building or feature to my property. Is this possible?
A. We consider property additions on a case by case basis. If the property has enough space and the customized addition is within general theme of the property then we will be more than happy to assist.

Q. I have found a property that I really like, but I don’t like the landscaping of it. Can that be modified?
A. Of course. Assistance with terraforming and landscaping can be requested by submitting a ticket. Keep in mind that requests are still subject to the theming of the area and the discretion of the management team.

Q. Do you offer texture changes to properties? I would like to change my floor, wall, or exterior.
A. We do not offer texture customization to homes at this time.

Q. Do you offer furnishing services for your rentals?
A. While we do not currently offer furnishing services, we do have a select number of pre-furnished apartments and businesses that may be available. Please reach out to our rental team to check availability and see if any would suit your needs. If you require furnishing services, we welcome you to check our notices for local residents who may offer them. There are also several services in SL who you can hire at your discretion.

Q. I would like to modify or replace a pre-furnished business. Is this possible?
A. On a case by case basis it may be possible to renovate or remove pre-furnished (turn key) business. Submit a ticket before renting to verify its eligibility. 

Q. I have pets, breedables, crops, or other system items I’d like to set out at my property. Is this allowed?
A. Per our rules, we ask that citizens  Avoid extensive use (more than 3, total) of heavily scripted objects. Common examples are BeYou furniture, DFS farming, MyStory farming, and ‘breedable’/animated pets. While not prohibited, you will be asked to de-rez items if it is found you have several or significantly high impact objects out. High impact items will be returned if a resident fails to remove them within 24 hours.” This means you may have up to three (3) like items at your rental. We do not encourage their use though, as it can hurt simulator performance for all users.

Q. I would like to switch my rental to another property, is this possible? Can I transfer my rent to another property?
A. Absolutely! You may transfer your rental to a different property if you wish to relocate. Submit a ticket and we’ll be glad to assist.

Q. Can I open a Gacha item resale store or use Gacha items to decorate my house?
A. Your business can contain Gacha items so long as the locations remain open for roleplay per our rules. They may also be used for home decoration. However, for any no-copy items, realize that if they need to be returned (abandonment of parcel, outside parcel, etc.) there is a risk they will be lost. We are unable to replace or reimburse lost items. You can read more information concerning this here: No-Copy Items Lost

Q. I no longer wish to rent in Port Dominion. Can I get a refund on my time remaining?
A. We do not offer rental refunds at this time.

Q. I I have a question that isn’t covered by something here?
A. Please open a rental ticket, if you have not rented with us and it has to do with something about our policies, we highly incourage you to do so before renting. This will allow us to clear up any confusion beforehand and better assist you in finding the perfect rental for you.
